Helping learners build confidence and reach their full potential is at the heart of everything I do. Having worked as a primary school teacher in London and Hong Kong and as a SENCo in South West London I offer personalised tutoring both online and in person, using a multisensory approach to make learning engaging, effective, and fun. Every session is tailored to the individual needs of the student, helping them grow not just academically, but emotionally too.I hold a Master’s in Education (Inclusion and SEND) from the University of Birmingham, and a Level 5 Diploma in Specialist Dyslexia Teaching from Dyslexia Matters. This means I’m qualified to carry out informal, curriculum-based assessments and deliver specialist teaching programmes for learners with SpLD/dyslexia. I’m also a proud member of PATOSS (Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties).Mental health and wellbeing are central to my teaching. I’m trained in Mental Health First Aid and MindUp, so I understand how to support the emotional needs of my pupils as well as their academic progress. I’m also an accredited executive function coach, and I often bring coaching techniques into sessions to help students stay organised, motivated, and in control of their learning. If you’re looking for a tutor who offers bespoke, evidence-based support with a compassionate, student-first approach, I’d love to hear from you.
